The official concert of this year's Bulgarian Christmas national charity campaign was held in the National Theater in Sofia Christmas evening.

2010's Bulgarian Christmas has raised up to Sunday BGN 1.246 M of donations from firms and private individuals that will go for the treatment of children suffering from rare or severe diseases.

A part of the funds will also go for purchasing of medical equipment for children's clinics and wards.

A plethora of famous Bulgarian pop and folk singers took part in the event, such as rock band BTR, pop singer Grafa and Miro, as well as a number of pop-folk divas and traditional folk singers.

The performers also created with their own hands a special Christmas card.

As usual, the Bulgarian Christmas campaign was under the patronage of Bulgarian President Georgi Parvanov.

The campaign will continue up to January 1, 2011.
