Bulgaria's Ministry of Emergency Situations has warned its regional offices about expected high precipitation and thunderstorms on Friday and over the weekend.
Friday's forecast is for short thundershowers that could be really intensive at some parts of the country especially Central and Northeast Bulgaria.
The local authorities are also aware of the Ministry's warning. The Ministry recommends that in case of thunderstorms people who are traveling by car should pull over and wait for the raining to stop.
It also advices people to stay away from bridges, electric installations, power lines, and metal fences and constructions.
