At least four people were killed and about 30 others injured when a man rammed his bulldozer into a bus and several cars at a busy intersection in Jerusalem.

The attack on Wednesday has caused chaos in downtown Jerusalem and the attacker was shot dead, Al Jazeera reported.

The bulldozer driver is said to have been from occupied East Jerusalem, and he had been working at the rail system.

There was no word on a motive or claim of responsibility. Micky Rosenfeld, an Israel police spokesman, has described the incident as a "terrorist incident."
