Seif al-Islam, son of the Lybian leader Qaddafi, is planning to visit Sofia after the Bulgaria-related issue currently handled by his Foundation is settled, it transpired at a news conference in the French capital. Since September 2001 the Qaddafi International Foundation for Charity Associations, headed by Seif al-Islam, has been acting as observer of a trial in Tripoli against six Bulgarian medics charged with deliberately infecting 393 Libyan children with AIDS. In an answer to a question Seif al-Islam said he likes Bulgaria very much, has many friends in the country.
