The President familiarized Prime Minister Saxe-Coburg with his program of his forthcoming visit to Macedonia at a working meeting on February 25. The President and the Prime Minister agreed to enhance the dialogue and cooperation between their administrations. The President will from now on receive the bills, approved by the Cabinet before they are tabled in the Cabinet. The two high-ranking officials agreed to meet regularly once a week from now on. During his visit in Macedonia – February 26-27, President Parvanov will be accompanied by Foreign Minister Passy and Interior Minister Petkanov. This will be the second visit of a Bulgarian President to Macedonia in the history of relations between the two countries. In May 2000 former President Petur Stoyanov paid official visit to Macedonia. Parvanov's visit coincides with the celebration 10th anniversary of the recognition of the Republic of Macedonia by Bulgaria. Bulgaria was the first country that recognized the young independent republic with its constitutional name in January 1992.
