Bulgarian-born Stanislav Ianevski, who plays the role of Viktor Krum in the latest Harry Potter blockbuster, shared with fans in Sofia that he was still waiting to discover life's biggest magic - true love.

Ianevski, who is in Bulgaria for the movie's premiere appeared before the national Harry Potter fan club "Potter Mania" the day before he was to walk down the red carpet. His appearance at amusement park Sofia Land caused an uproar of cheers and exalted screams, most of which belonging to young girls.

The twenty-year-old, who has become the best-known Bulgarian actor in Hollywood, answered a selection of questions, picked from the 2,500 inquiries that the website of the fan club gathered.

Ianevski said that Bulgarian fans were unique and "the best", causing the crowd to once again erupt in cheers, and soothed many anxious teenage minds by confessing that his heart still hadn't been conquered. That particular piece of news seemed to especially please a group of girls in their late teens who happily chuckled and nudged each other.

The first day of the shots of "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire" was the scariest, Ianevski admitted, with three huge cameras and 2,000 people on the set all staring at him. But afterwards everything became easier, and toward the end director Mike Newell even let them improvise a bit.

When asked about his experience starring in the movie Ianevski admitted that for him it had been magical beyond words. But even though he confessed he feelt lucky to be selected he called himself a down-to-earth person, and hoped to remain one. And quite unlike the dominating, rugged image of Viktor Krum's first appearance in the movie, his off-screen alter-ego was considerate enough to spend some time assessing the home-made Harry Potter costumes of local fans and their drawings and paintings.

Ianevski blushed when served the peppery question of his relationship with on-screen romantic aspiration Emma Watson in the role of Hermione Granger. She was a great person and a great actress, he said but they were just good friends. It was an honor to play by her side, he wrapped it up.

Before the movie many people had imagined Bulgarian quidditch champ Viktor Krum quite like the obtrusive, brute and barely literate literature character Bai Ganyo, created by writer Aleko Konstantinov, Ianevski said. He added, however, that now British fans shared with him that they saw that Krum actually meant manliness and a well-built, muscular physique.

"Krum is mighty, like all Bulgarians," Ianevski explained.

Denying some reports, Ianevski said that he loved his country and came back often. Bulgaria was magical, paradise-like, with seaside and mountains, he explained. Being from Sofia, he admitted that his favorite leisure-time destination was the nearby Vitosha mountain. "If I could, I would invite the whole Harry Potter crew at the Bulgarian seaside," the young actor said.

In the end, true to his humble nature, Ianevski had one request for all his fans. To share whether they had been satisfied with his performance in the movie. He promised to log on to the fan site and read the opinions as organizers urged the admirers to be fair and not to just praise him, so he wouldn't get above himself.
