Twenty-one containers with fresh nuclear from Russia arrived and were unloaded at the Kozloduy Nuclear Power Plant. The Russian Tvel company supplied the fuel, which will be used for the four older reactors of the plant (440 MW each) in 2002. For the first time the fule was transported by sea and rail. The Russian ship arrived at the Port of Varna West on Saturday. Then the cargo was transferred to a train and transported to a railway station in Vratsa Region under strict security measures. The fuel cargo finally reached the plant by road, on platform vehicles.
