Bulgarian foreign minister Nadezhda Mihailova invited King Simeon to an official meeting, concerning the crisis with Bulgarian medics detained in Libya. Mihailova will ask King Simeon about the steps he had taken to negotiate with Lybian authorities to free the arrested Bulgarians, who were accused of infecting some 400 Lybian chidlren with HIV virus in the hospital they had worked. King Simeon said already in a statement that he is ready to help and to try to mediate for the negotiations with Lybian government. No answer to the foreign minister invitation was announced today.
