Bulgarian Foreign Minister Passy will address the Ninth Ministerial Council of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) on November 3. The reform of OSCE, an enhancement of the organization's role as a forum of political dialogue and improvement of its governance, the fight against terrorism and regional problems will be discussed during the two-day meeting. Bulgaria is a founding member of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe, which was established as a Conference for Security and Cooperation in Europe in Helsinki in August 1, 1975 and was renamed in 1994. 55 countries from Europe, Central Asia and North America are members in the organization now.
