Bulgarian Chimimport trading company will be recommended to the Bank Consolidation Company (BCC) as a buyer of a 32,77% stake in the Central Cooperative Bank (CCB), Neli Kordovska, BCC executive director announced on November 29. The recommendation for approval will be made by the commission with the Cabinet in charge of the stake. The price for the stake is set at BGN 6 M. BCC is the state governmental body managing state equity in Bulgarian banks. Chimimport was the only candidate to submit a bid for the stake in CCB. Chimimport already owns a 27% stake in CCB and controls another 28% equity owned by the Central Cooperative Union.
