An Israeli man holding Bulgarian citizenship has died in Monday's attack on a Tel Aviv marketplace, according to Bulgarian media citing diplomats in Israel.

Media reported about another Israeli with Bulgarian citizenship who was wounded in the same incident. The victim was taken to a hospital for treatment, and released later on the same day.

Four people were killed and dozens wounded in the suicide bomb attack that shattered the central Carmel market.

The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, a radical PLO faction, claimed responsibility.

They identified the assailant as Eli Amer Alfar, aged about 16-18, from the Askar refugee camp near the West Bank city of Nablus. Police say the teenager detonated some five kilograms of explosive in a shop at the busy market.

Monday's incident was the 14th suicide bomb attack inside Israel since the beginning of this year.
