An Islamic terrorist group that claimed responsibility for two terror attacks in Russia last month said Thursday its next target is Russian President Vladimir Putin. In the statement, posted on the Internet, The Islambouli Brigades called on all its cells in Russia to wage "a violent war in the face of the infidels in Russia, targeting everywhere." It said Putin has "announced he will target every Muslim in the world and in Chechnya." Two Russian planes were downed on August 24, killing 90 people, a week later a suicide bombing in Moscow claimed the lives of another 10 people. The Islambouli Brigades claimed responsibility for the two terror acts.
