Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy Nikolay Vassilev will represent Bulgaria at the regular annual meeting of the Prime Ministers of the CEFTA countries on November 16 in Bucharest. CEFTA development in trade and cooperation will be assessed at the meeting. Minister Vassilev will present Bulgaria’s position, which assesses cooperation within CEFTA as positive this year. Bulgaria’s exports to the rest of the CEFTA countries for the eight months of 2001 grew faster than the imports. Bulgaria, as well as the rest of the CEFTA countries, supports the further liberalization of the trade among the countries on the basis of bilateral relations.
