“The latest opinion polls published Friday (November 9) added tension to the presidential election in Bulgaria, showing that the incumbent, Petar Stoyanov, might miss a first-round victory by a thread,” International Herald Tribune writes in its issue of November 10, citing Reuters Agency. The polls have also shown two of Stoyanov’s closest rivals, Socialist leader Georgi Parvanov and the former Interior Minister, Bogomil Bonev, running neck-and-neck. The issue cites Kolyo Kolyev, head of the Mediana polling agency, saying for Sega Daily that those are most unpredictable elections.
