“The United Democratic Forces (UDF) insists that the Prime Minister Simeon Saxe-Coburg assume full responsibility for the country’s governance, “ Nadezhda Mihaylova, floor leader of the UDF Parliamentary Group said before the beginning of the parliamentary debate on the agreement with the IMF. The opposition wants to know who really is in charge of the country – the Simeon II National Movement or the coalition between the Movement for Rights and Freedoms and the Bulgarian Socialist Party. According to Mihaylova the lack of parliamentary debate on the Government’s first one hundred days would have demonstrated lack of respect for the parliamentary institution. “The lack of strategy and competence resulted in the loss of the administration’s support, “ Mihaylova stated. “At the moment, Bulgaria has ministers – some successful, others – not. However, there is no Government,” she reiterated. According to her, the lack of strategy explains why the Government does not work as a team.
