Some planes of Bulgarian airline Hemus Air have been banned from landing at Switzerland's territory over safety concerns, world media reported.

Aircrafts operated by Silk Way of Azerbaijan/Belgium, JR Executive of Lebanon/US, Premium Air Shuttle of Nigeria, Dniproavia of Ukraine and Spain's GIR Jet are also said to be on the blacklist.

Hemus Air Executive Director Dimitar Pavlov, however, was then cited as saying that no such ban was imposed on any of the company's aircrafts.

Earlier, the UK also published a list of airlines banned from entering its territory.
