Bulgaria hasn`t submitted a plan for implementing the Schengen legislation to the European Commission. This is stated in a report of the European Commission compiled for the summit of the EU in Gent. Among other topics, the summit will discuss the enlargement of the alliance. The report points out that Bulgaria, as well as some other EU candidates should adopt comprehensive measures to restructure their steel industry. The European Commission underlines that by the date of Bulgaria`s joining the EU, the first four reactors of the Kozloduy Nuclear Power Plant have to be closed down.
