Russian President Relentless on Oil Tycoon Arrest

Russia's President Vladimir Putin has refused to meet representatives of the country's powerful business lobby to discuss Saturday's arrest of the country's richest oil executive Mihail Khodorkovsky. The arrest of the tycoon, which is the executive of oil giant Yukos, was triggered by fraud charges. Khodorkovsky, like many more of the country's top businessmen, built their fortunes on companies privatised during the rapid sell-off of public assets in the mid 1990s.
