International pop star Phil Collins recorded a duet song with the Bulgarian Women's Choir for the soundtrack of Walt Disney's "Brother Bear", the Billboard magazine wrote.
Collins' lyrics for the joint track, called "Transformation," were translated into the Inuit Eskimo language and the performance was arranged by score co-composers Collins and Mark Mancina and vocal arranger Eddie Jobson. "The idea of them singing in a language that is completely foreign to them gave the song a texture and sound that was unique," Mancina have told the magazine.
"It's kind of a melting pot. It's definitely world music," Collins commented on the performance.
The article even described the song as "the most intriguing" among records included in the album. It is about to be released on October 21 and the film's premiere will take place October 24, in Los Angeles and New York first.
