The parliament approved the amendment to the Criminal Code according to which those officials who granted `bad credits` will be imprisoned from one to ten years. 115 MPs voted in favor of the amendment. The Parliament did not approve the amendments of the Criminal Code with 103 votes against, 43 in favor and 32 abstained. Luchezar Toshev, MP from the United Democratic Forces, made a proposal that the Directors of enterprises are convicted from two to six years when they consciously do not re-register entities in which former owners can participate. According to Tatyana Doncheva, the proposal aims at particular problem and does not encompass a large number of people.
