BULGARIA TO NEGOTIATE WITH ARAB INVESTORS

`Bulgaria will seek investments from the Middle East and Central Asia,`Nikolay Marinov, the newly appointed director of the Foreign Investments Agency said on October 3. Marinov and his predecessor Georgi Tabakov answered journalists` questions then. The Agency is to rely on the personal contacts that the Bulgarian Prime Minister has in the Arab countries. Bulgaria will continue to look for US and Western Europe investments. The Government is to propose an aggressive marketing strategy to achieve that goal. According to Marinov, he expects investors to show interest in the energy, tourism and agriculture sectors.
