Bulgaria has not committed itself to any other form of aid or support for the United States and NATO apart from providing air corridors. This was pointed out by Defense Minister Nikolay Svinarov for Horizont`s Radio program `Before All`. Minister Svinarov stressed that the air corridors were being provided for transport flights and that the aircraft will not carry military personnel or arms. The flights will be subject to civil aviation regulations and will be part of the free traffic in Bulgaria`s airspace. `There is no wartime schedule and there will be no change in the flight schedule for civilians,` the minister confirmed. As far as guarantees for Bulgaria`s security are concerned, the minister pointed out that Bulgaria`s greatest guarantee was the county`s solidarity with the campaign of the international community of civilized and democratic states against terrorism.
