The Bulgarian President Petur Stoyanov and Prime Minister Ljubco Georgievski met during the two-day visit to the country of the Macedonian official. The two politicians discussed the political situation, the security at the Balkans and the crisis in Macedonia. Earlier during the day the parliament speaker Ognyan Gerdzhikov had a warm and friendly meeting with the Georgievski too. The two officials discussed the possibilities for intensifying the cooperation between Bulgaria and Macedonia in light of the 11 agreements that were signed between the two countries. `The agreements are not still ratified because of political reasons,` Georgievski said after the meeting. Macedonian experts will work on the return of nationalized Macedonian property to its Bulgarian owners. Gerdzhikov and Georgievski also talked about Balkan Cooperation Pact establishment. The idea for the pact will be discussed in details at the meeting of the NATO candidate countries that will take place in Sofia in October this year.Ljubco Georgievski met the leaders of the United Democratic Forces and the Bulgarian Socialist Party Ekaterina Mihailova and Georgi Purvanov respectively.
