The US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has issued a warning regarding a new mutation of the virus responsible for the COVID-19 pandemic, known as the FLiRT variants
The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 4,497 from 19,424 tests, according to the daily report on the Unified Information Portal on March 30.
2,041 were confirmed from PCR and 2,456 from antigen tests.
The total lab-confirmed positive cases in the country since the start of the epidemic are 333,250.
The active cases are 67,864.
Of the total, 9,679 patients are in hospitals, 752 of them being in intensive care.
