Bulgaria's External Debt Reaches €44.4 Billion: National Bank Report

Opportunities for expanding business partnerships have been discussed and how the Embassy of Northern Macedonia in our country can be involved in this process. The aim is to facilitate and intensify establishment of business contacts between both countries, to familiarize the companies with the specifics and opportunities of the market and to seek new forms of mutually beneficial cooperation.
One of the planned initiatives is holding of a bilateral business forum in Sofia, focused on information and communication technologies, as well as conducting seminars and trainings for acquiring a qualification to work in the IT sector. The event is scheduled to take place in early April 2019. The goal is to establish and promote business partnerships and concrete company-level agreements.
According to data from the Commercial and Economic Affairs Office in Skopje, over the past few months, an increased interest of Bulgarian businesses in the Macedonian market has been registered, with most inquiries coming from the IT, outsourcing, food, pharmaceutical and tourism sectors.
During the meeting, both sides confirmed their willingness to make systematic efforts in order to intensify business contacts to achieve concrete positive results for the expansion of the trade and economic relations between the Republic of Bulgaria and Northern Macedonia.
