During his apostolic trip to Bulgaria from 5 to 7 May this year. Pope Francis will visit Sofia and Rakovski, and then on May 7 he will travel to Skopje, the presidential press service announced.

Later Pope Francis will pronounce his traditional Sunday prayer "Queen of Heaven" / Regina coeli /. Each Sunday, this prayer is traced live by millions of people around the world, as on May 5 the Pope will turn to them from the Bulgarian capital.
Focus on Pope Francis' program on 6 May is the visit of the town of Rakovski, where the largest Catholic community in Bulgaria lives. In the church "The Most Holy Heart of Jesus" he will serve the world with the first communion of children from all over Bulgaria, and a meeting with the Catholic community will take place in the Church of St. Archangel Michael.
The apostolic journey of Pope Francis in Bulgaria will end with a peace event of the Holy Father in the presence of representatives of various religious denominations in Bulgaria at Nezavisimost Square.
