The Austrian real estate investment company Soravia has acquired a "significant part" of the site of the former Kremikovtzi plant in Sofia. This is understood by a message from First Investment Bank to the Financial Supervision Commission and the Bulgarian Stock Exchange. It was "First Investment Bank" that acquired the assets of "Kremikovtzi" at the end of 2015 through the "Eltrade company" and "Ferro-alloy plant".
In front of Money.bg, the chief executive of First Investment Bank Nedelcho Nedelchev announced that it is about 40% of the total area of 7.7 million square meters. A buyer through a financial lease is the company Soravia. The family-run company, which has grown into a real estate giant, has built some of the most famous buildings in Sofia, such as the Yellow Marketmark Landmark Business Center, the Europark office building on Tsarigradsko shosse Blvd. and Megapark "on the same boulevard, which was sold for € 96 million in 2007.
