Members of parliament donated blood for the needs of US hospitals after the terrorists attacks in New York and Washington on Tuesday. Speaker Ognyan Gerdzhikov did it for the first time in life, many others followed him. Bulgarian Red Cross organized also nation-wide blood donation action through out the country.
