Tragic Incident in Silistra: 37-Year-Old Man Kills Longtime Friend
A 37-year-old man fatally assaulted his friend in the Silistra region, as reported by the Bulgarian police
A man suffered from a stone thrown at a train, announced BDZ. On Sunday evening around 21:50, the fast train from Blagoevgrad to Sofia was attacked with stones by unknown people in the area between Gorna Bania Station and Zaharna Fabrika.
As a result of the vandalism, a young man who had traveled on the train was injured.
Thrown stones have broken glass on a side door of the second wagon of the composition, as a result of which the traveler has suffered head injuries. The transport brigade called Emergency Medical Assistance and the victim was taken to hospital.
From the beginning of 2018 this is the 19th case where trains of "BDZ-Passenger Transport" are stoned. For the same period in 2017, 42 cases were registered, and for the whole year they were 76.
