Today marks the joyous celebration of Easter, one of the most significant holidays in the Orthodox Christian calendar.
The government has approved the accession of the Ministry of Defence to two memoranda from 2008 on the establishment, operations and functional relationships of NATO Cooperative Cyber Defence Centre of Excellence, the government press office said.
The Centre is located in Tallinn, Estonia, and currently has 18 members, while four countries – Bulgaria, Romania, Norway and Switzerland – are in the process of joining.
The Centre’s mission is to improve the capacity, cooperation and information sharing among NATO, its member nations and partners in cyber defence through education, research and development, analyses and consultations. Joining the Centre, Bulgaria will be able to build and develop national operational capabilities in cyber security.
