Insights into Sofia's Office Sector: Trends and Outlook
In the initial quarter of the year, the office market in Sofia maintains a relatively subdued pace
This year, Sofia Municipality will take an active part in celebrating the Earth Hour (24th of March) with a series of environmental initiatives, the press office of the municipality said on 23rd of March.
In addition to the traditional turning off the lights of significant municipal buildings, Sofia Municipality will expand the pedestrian zone for the whole day on Saturday (between 8.00 and 21.30) and will close for traffic Batenberg square and Tsar Osvoboditel Blvd. in the section from Rakovski street to Knyaz Alexander Battenberg Street.
During the day there will be a farmer's market with a variety of organic products from all over the country and there will be a mobile collection point for old electrical and electronic technical equipment.
The farm market entitled “From Our Farm - With Love For You!” has a rich variety of farm and craft food of small producers from different parts of the country and is a joint initiative between WWF - Bulgaria and the Bioselena Foundation for Biological Agriculture. It will be open between 10:00 and 18:00.
Everyone wishing to dispose of their obsolete or out-of-use appliances, regardless of the size, can deliver them at the collection point for old electronic and electric equipment. The appliances will be recycled by Ecobultech AD - a company with which Sofia Municipality has a contract. The collection point will work between 10:00 and 16:00.
In addition to the initiatives on Battenberg Square, Sofia Municipality will illuminate the green light of 50 pedestrian traffic lights in the city in the shape of a heart - sending a message of love to nature, reminding citizens to turn off their lights in the evening, thus taking part in the global initiative.
Sofia residents and guests of the city are invited to the traditional turning off the lights for the Earth Hour and the fire show featuring fire and shadow theater Fireter and Divinitas fire show which will be performed outside the National Theater Ivan Vazov at 20.30.
