A test of the experimental ballot counting by using special machines will probably be confined to Bulgaria's capital Sofia at the forthcoming presidential vote, an electoral official has said.
Aleksandar Andreev, head of the Central Electoral Committee, has told Focus Radio that the constituencies implementing the method for the first time are yet to be determined.
Bulgaria has already tried machine voting, also on experimental terms.
Another "experiment" is due in the 2018 elections, when Bulgarian nationals will be voting for a new parliament and will be able to cast a ballot online, but still as a test, under amendments introduced after a referendum last year.
Presidential elections in Bulgaria will be held on November 06.
