The Bulgarian government has adopted a decision to set up more honorary consular offices in Poland and Spain.

The one in Poland will be based in Bia?ystok, with Witold Karczewski appointed as Honorary Consul, a press statement says after a cabinet meeting. His mandate will extend to Podlaskie, Lubelskie, and Warmi?sko-Mazurskie Voivodeships (governorates).

In Spain, the office will be located in Seville, and Roc?o V?zquez Ruiz will be in charge of it, covering the entire area of Andalusia where "a significant number" of Bulgarians live, the government says.

Separately, the cabinet has freed Gabriel Benezra, Bulgaria's Honorary Consul in Switzerland, and Giorgio de Faveri, whose mandate comprises the region of Veneto in Italia.
