Bulgarian heavyweight boxer Kubrat Pulev will box Mariusz Wach from Poland in Bulgaria in the autumn.

The exact date of the bout, which will most likely be held in September or October, has not been decided yet. Similarly, the venue is still being discussed, with two possibilities being Vasil Levski National Stadium or Arena Armeec hall in Sofia.

Pulev will defend the European heavyweight title, which he claimed in May after beating Dereck Chisora with split decision.

The Bulgarian has a record of 23 victories and one defeat, while his Polish opponent has a record of 32 wins and two losses.

If he wins, Pulev will become challenger for the IBF heavyweight title, which is currently held by Anthony Joshua from the UK.

Following his victory over Chisora, the managers of Pulev made a promise that they will try to organise his next bout to be held in Bulgaria.
