Bulgarian Finance Minister Vladislav Goranov called on making the report on the assets of the insolvent Corporate Commercial Bank (KTB) public.
Goranov has asked the consulting firm Alixpartners Services UK LLP for its consent on disclosing the report which had been conducted by the company.
The international company was hired in June last year and entrusted by the bank's assignees with conducting an investigation and tracing the assets which had been used unlawfully and in violation of good banking practices.
The firm was also asked to recommend actions on restoring the assets.
Goranov said that public interest on making the report public prevailed over the concerns that disclosing parts of the report could harm the process of restoring the assets.
