The number of suspects detained over the suicide attack in Istanbul on Tuesday has increased to seven.
This was announced by Turkish Interior Minister Efkan Ala on Thursday, Hurriyet Daily News quotes him as saying.
On Wednesday, Ala stated that one suspect had been detained, while later Turkish Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu added that four more people had been arrested.
A suicide bomber, who has been identified as a Syrian linked to Islamic State (IS), blew himself up in the popular tourist area of Sultanahmet square in central Istanbul on Tuesday.
The suicide attack claimed the lives of eleven people, all of whom foreign tourists, and left fifteen other injured.
