Bulgarian trucks carrying Turkish goods have been blocked at Russian customs without being allowed to unload their goods.
A total of 1250 trucks carrying Turkish goods have been stopped at Russian borders and have not been permitted to enter the country, remaining blocked at border checkpoints.
Russian President Vladimir Putin signed on Saturday a decree introducing a set of economic sanctions against Turkey, including restricting the imports of certain Turkish goods.
The sanctions were imposed in response to the downing of the Russian Su-24 warplane by Turkish F-16 fighter jets near the Turkish-Syrian border on November 24.
In the past four days, Russia has not allowed Turkish trucks to enter the country and banned their transit through Russian territory.
At the same time, trucks carrying Turkish goods, which had already entered the territory of Russia, have not been allowed to unload their goods.
Similarly to Bulgarian ones, Romanian, Kazakh and Moldovan trucks carrying Turkish goods have also been affected by the sanctions, private NOVA TV informs.
