A masked man armed with a sword left one person dead and wounded another four people after attacking a school in the Swedish town of Trollhattan on Thursday.
The attacker was shot by police and is currently being treated in hospital for gunshot wounds.
According to police sources, there was a “considerable confusion” at the school with students fleeing the building, the BBC informs.
Some of the victims, among whom are one adult and four students, have serious injuries and are undergoing operation.
The attack was carried out in the cafe of the Kronan school, which has 400 students.
