Bulgaria: Bulgaria Helicopters Deployed to Rescue Crew of Stranded Turkish Ship File photo

Bulgarian Defense Minister has ordered that the country's Air Force and Navy help rescue the crew of a ship sailing under a Turkish flag which is stranded off Bulgarian waters.

Two Eurocopter AS565 Panther helicopters (with the Bulgarian Navy) and two Cougars (with the Bulgarian Air Force) have been deployed to take part in the operation, helping the crew and working to mitigate the damage, a press statement by the Defense Ministry reads.
