Football Icon Dimitar Berbatov Announces Candidacy for Bulgarian Football Union Presidency
Dimitar Berbatov, the renowned former football sensation, declared his bid for the presidency of the Bulgarian Football Union (BFU) during a press conference
Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras received quite an unexpected present while visiting the Tolumba stadium in Thessaloniki on Sunday.
Though not a fan of PAOK, he was warmly welcomed at their stadium, where Bulgarian football player Dimitar Berbatov had arrived just a few days earlier, news website Dnevnik.bg reports, citing The Greek Analyst.
#Tsipras: "We might have destroyed the economy, but at least #PAOK got #Berbatov. Hasta la victoria, siempre!" pic.twitter.com/mvwspIhtcw

A picture on the Greek Analyst's Twitter profile also shows Tsipras holding Berbatov's new No 10 T-shirt. "What should I do now?" he is quoted as saying after receiving the item.
In a somewhat surprising move, PAOK signed Berbatov earlier this week.
