It will be up to 30% cheaper to spend a holiday at the southern Black Sea coastline from August 20 until the end of a month, and there will be another 20% decrease in September, hoteliers say.

In a move aimed at drawing mainly Bulgarian tourists, some businesses recommend a trip to the Black Sea precisely at the end of August or in September, when resorts and beaches are not overcrowded.

Slanchev Bryag (Sunny Beach), the biggest resort along the Bulgarian Black Sea coastline, will lower prices for rooms and other services by 15-20%.

Diana Kolcheva, who is a member of the Tourism Council at the Southeastern town of Chernomorets (near Sozopol), has told the Bulgarian National Radio that bead-and-breakfast offers for EUR 25 and half-board or all inclusive for EUR 25-60 will be shortly available all along the Southern Black Sea coast.
