The long awaited concert of hip hop and neo soul star Ms Lauryn Hill will take place in Sofia's Arena Armeets on July 15.
Sofia will be a part of the neo soul queen's new series of concerts across the world after a long break.
The incredibly successful second album entitled ''The Score'' came out back in 1996 and made The Fugees one of the best selling hip-hop formations of all time. It also won the band two Grammys and was certified six times platinum. Three of the most recognizable singles stayed on the top of the world music charts for quite a while - ''Killing Me Softly'', ''Fu-gee-la'', and ''Ready or Not''.
After the band broke up, Ms Lauryn Hill devoted her time to individual projects. Her only solo album ''The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill'' (1998) was more than successful, getting five Grammys, became number one in the Billboard Top 200 and sold more than 12 million copies worldwide.
Ms Hill was also actively involved in her charity work with the Refugee Camp Youth Project. It allows unprivileged children from New Jersey to attent a free educational summer camp.
Early bird tickets will be sold a price of BGN 55 by the end of May, and in June for BGN 65. More information on the event is available here.
