Prime Minister Boyko Borisov met Friday with Joe Wilson, Reid Ribble and Madeleine Bordallo, members of the United States House of Representatives who are on a visit to Bulgaria.

During Friday’s talks, Borisov and the members of the US House of Representatives discussed the development of bilateral relations and praised the level of partnership within NATO, according to a media statement of the government, as cited by the BGNES news agency.

Wilson, Ribble and Bordallo drew attention to Bulgaria’s contribution to international military missions and to the fight against global threats.

The three members of the United States House of Representatives and Borisov also exchanged views on counterterrorism issues.
