Sofia Airport is now operating at its summer schedule starting March 29.
There are now 50 direct flights to European and Middle Eastern destinations available, Pressa Daily reported.
Meanwhile, over 10, 500 regular flights have been confirmed by 22 airlines.
Two of them will offer 34 regular daily connections from Sofia to Vienna. Additionally, London remains among the most popular destinations with 31 regular weekly flights by 4 different airlines.
Trips to Frankfurt will reach a high number -22, and those to Paris will be 18. Meanwhile, the three daily flights to Munchen, as well as the two to Istanbul will be kept unchanged.
Travelling to and from Athens and Rome, on the other hand, can be done 16 times per week, and daily flights to Milan, Brussels, Moscow, Warsaw, Bucurest, Madrid, Tel Aviv and Amsterdam will vary but will be more than one per day.
There will be additional offers for every day of the week for those willing to visit Belgrade, Berlin, Dortmund and Larnaca.
