Bulgaria to Conduct Test of BG-Alert Early Warning System

The World Health Organization has approved the first fast-track Ebola test that could help alleviate the situation in West Africa.
The desease has already killed 10,000 people.
The test has been developed by a US company, and despite not being as accurate as more detailed examinations, but is much easier and faster to execute, as reported by Reuters.
It is able to produce results in just 15 minutes, while standard tests take between 12 and 24 hours with accuracy of 92%.
In case the result is positive, additional longer examinations need to be performed, as there is an 8% chance for error.
The non-governmental organization Doctors Without Borders has already showed interest in using the test in problematic regions of the world.
