Bulgaria: Nearly 33,000 Bulgarian Voters Cast Ballots Abroad by 2 pm

A total of 32,598 voters have cast ballots in polling stations abroad in Bulgaria’s early parliamentary elections by 2pm Sofia time on Sunday.

According to foreign ministry data, more than half of those voters, 17 197, have cast ballots in Turkey.

By 2pm Sofia time 3,078 Bulgarian nationals have voted in Spain, 1,535 in Germany, 1,224 in the UK, 1,159 in Belgium, 1,170 in Greece.

In Australia, where the election day has already ended, a total of 313 Bulgarian voters have cast their ballots.

Voting has also ended in Japan and Korea.
