Sudzha Gas Metering Station Attacked: Ukraine and Russia Exchange Blame
On March 21, Ukraine accused Russia of carrying out a false flag operation involving the Sudzha gas metering station in Kursk Oblast
Russia has requested the international community to investigate the use of prohibited incendiary bombs in Ukraine.
"We are concerned to hear reports that the Ukrainian military forces use incendiary bombs and some other indiscriminate weapons. These reports should be probed into urgently", Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov stated, quoted by ITAR-TASS.
Meanwhile, Russia's Ambassador to the UN Vitaly Churkin has urged the OSCE observers' mission to "press ahead with with the investigation into the tragic events in Odessa on May 2, in Mariupol on May 9, in Kramatorsk, Slaviansk and into February's case of Maidan snipers".
In connection with these incidents, Russian human rights experts have presented their evidence of mass violations in Ukraine, calling on the UN's Human Rights Council to assist in de-escalating the violence.
Russian journalists who were detained in Ukraine in May and denied access to cover the presidential elections, have "urged the international community to condemn strongly the violence and the persecution of the media in Ukraine".
