China has taken the gold medals in the men’s team trampoline competition at the World Championships in Sofia’s Arena Armeec.
The Asians, led by Olympic champion Dong Dong, won with an overall score of 177.555. The silver medals went to Russia, who scored 171.180, while the bronze surprisingly went to Australia, with 126.390.
In the women’s team competition, Great Britain took 1st place with 164.845. They were followed by Canada (159.995) and Belarus (158.450).
The finals in the other disciplines will take place on Sunday. No Bulgarian athlete managed to qualify for that stage.
