The yeast manufacturer Hlebna Maya from Rousse filed a claim for USD 3M against the Ministry of Finance and the former finance minister Muravei Radev. According to the claim, the ministry did not comply with an order of the ministry of economy. The outcome was substantial profit loss for the company. Experts claim that the illegal import of yeast amounts to 7000 tones and that is why Hlebna Maya also demanded from the Government to introduce protective import duties and annual import quotas on yeast.
