Bulgaria: Christmas Bonuses for Pensioners Depend on Budget Implementation Photo by BGNES

Bulgarian Prime Minister, Plamen Oresharski says pensioners will receive bonuses for Christmas, only if the implementaion of the budget looks good.

„I would like the Government to allocate money for Christmas Bonuses to Bulgaria's pensioners, but it is too early yet to make conclusions of the implementation of this year's budget“, said Oresharski at a press conference on Sunday, as cited by BGNES news agency.

Christmas Bonuses could be distribute to pensioners, only if there is enough money in the budget for the purpose, so we are counting on good budget implementaion that will enable us to allocate resources fo the bonuses, explained Oresharski.

Previously, Bulgarian Government has announced its intention to distribute Christmas bonuses to pensioners receiving less than BGN 200 per month.

Most of the bonuses would be between BGN 35-40, depending on the state of the budget at the end of November.
